Dear parishioners and guests of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, Wellington, brothers and sisters, friends!

We want to ask you for financial support for the Russian church in Wellington city. This parish was founded in 1952, at the expense of immigrants, members Russian community. Several times the temple buildings were resold for various reasons.
and currently the temple is located at 62 Darlington road, Miramar, Wellington.
Now this temple is experiencing very serious financial problems. On the account of the temple funds left to pay the necessary payments for a maximum of 6 months.
We ask you to make a donation to the church to cover the most necessary things for our community life, such as the priest’s salary and utilities. The responsibility for collecting this money lies with the entire parish as a whole and with every person in particular. Every donation can make a difference side. But hoping that someone will make the necessary donation and account wonderful way to replenish do not have to.

If you are a New Zealand resident for tax purposes you are eligible to claim a tax refund equaling one-third of your donation to our church.  Please add the reference “DONATION (your SURNAME)”  when making the transfer of funds and we will send you a tax deductible receipt at the end of the tax year.

All donations are tax deductible and the tax office returns one third to the donor of the donated amount, if there is a supporting document, which can be issued by the temple accountant upon request.
