From November 14 to November 17, 2019, a meeting of the Australian – New Zealand diocese was held in the city of Sydney in Australia. The meeting was led by Bishop George of Canberra.

Before the beginning of the meeting, a moleben was served in the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul, at the end of which Vladyka sprinkled holy water on everyone.

On the agenda were questions about the activities of the diocese over the past three years, as well as plans for the coming years. Among the speakers were priests from New Zealand – prot. Vladimir Boykov, prot. Valentin Basyuk and prot. Alexey Popkov. They talked about the activities of the parishes, and also outlined the difficulties that they have to face in the parishes where they serve.

On November 15, a concert of the Australian Russian Orthodox Male Choir, conducted by Nektarii Kotlyarov, was held in the Russian club building on Friday evening. Among the guests of the concert was the Bishop of Australia and New Zealand Siluan Serbian Orthodox Church.

On Sunday, a divine liturgy was held in the cathedral, led by: Gabriel – Archbishop of Montreal and Canada, and George – Bishop of Canber. Many priests and deacons received regular awards from the bishop.
